The southern beardless tyrannulet is a small flycatcher, 3.7-4 inches (9.4-10.2 cm) in length.
It is grayish-green on its upperparts. It has a grayish throat and a yellowish breast and belly. It has brown wings with two whitish, yellowish, or rusty wing bars. Males and females look alike.
Habitat

Diet

Life Cycle
The female lays 2-3 eggs in a domed nest. The female incubates the eggs for 14-16 days. The chicks fledge when they are 17 days old.
Behavior
The southern beardless tyrannulet often sits with its tail cocked up. It calls out with a high “wheer” call.
