Pelodytidae - Parsley Frogs

There are four species of frogs in this family. Three species, the Iberian parsley frog, the Lusitanian parsley frog, and the common parsley frog, are found in western Europe.

The Caucasian parsley frog is found in the Caucasus Mountains in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, and Türkiye at altitudes of up to 7,500 feet.

Parsley frogs are about 1.5 inches in length. They have green splotches on their smooth skin that make them look as if they are covered in parsley.
