Sylviidae - Old World Warblers

There are around 31 species of Old World warblers. Most species are found in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

They are small to medium-sized birds between 3.5-10 inches in length.

They have slender bills, medium-sized, rounded wings, short tails, and short to medium legs.

They are usually brown, gray, or olive in color with some streaks and bars. Some species are more boldly patterned.

They live in forests, brushlands, and marshes. Most of their diet is made up of insects. Many species have well-developed songs.
