Cumacea - Cumaceans

Most species of cumaceans have large heads and thoraxes and slender, long abdomens. They are tiny, between 1/39 of an inch and one inch in length.

Most species are found on the ocean floor and scavenge for food. There are around 1,400 species and they are found in all the world’s oceans.
