Threskiornithidae - Ibises and Spoonbills

There are 36 species of birds in this family. They are found all over the world, usually in areas with brackish water.

They have long bills, long legs, and long wings.  They come in a wide variety of colors, including white, black, and pink.

Most have pointed bills, but the spoonbill’s bill is rounded like a plate at the tip.
